La Tania ski area overview

Tucked in the spruce forest, La Tania is the quiet door into the 3 Vallées: from the car-free centre you’re only two lifts from either Courchevel or Méribel. The local hill is compact, sheltered and easy to read, perfect for families and newer skiers, with a free village drag and magic carpets, then three distinct ways home through the trees: a playful blue, a steady red that feeds the gondola, and a forgiving green from the top station. When the weather closes in, the forest keeps the visibility kind, and when the sun arrives, you can range far across the 600 km (391 mi) network and still glide straight back into the village at day’s end. It’s a calm, good value base with big area reach.

La Tania best ski pistes

  • Plan Fontaine (green): Gentle, wide, and in the trees. Starts at the top of the main gondola and is great for practising turns.
  • Green home run: The easiest way back to the village once you’re past the nursery slopes.
  • Folyères (blue): La Tania’s classic run. Fun bends and small rollers through the forest all the way into the centre.
  • Boulevard des Arolles (red): Smooth, steady pitch. Ideal next step after Folyères.
  • Blue/Red home runs: Well-groomed options to ski right back to the gondola or pedestrian centre.
