Gudauri is Georgia's leading resort for off-piste skiing, with terrain almost entirely above the treeline and several named sectors built around serious backcountry-style descents. Sadzele, the resort's highest point at over 3,300m, offers sweeping panoramic views alongside some of its most demanding freeride terrain. Khada is a marked but ungroomed descent that drops into remote, powder-filled zones further from the lifts. Kobi Pass has built a reputation as one of the most iconic off-piste areas in the resort, with deep powder bowls and a real backcountry feel.
Gudauri has dedicated beginner areas with gentle, wide slopes and ski schools that teach in English. Because the whole mountain sits above the treeline, even the easiest runs open onto wide, unobstructed views of the Caucasus, and the beginner terrain spreads across several different sectors giving new skiers a variety of runs to choose from as they build confidence. Dedicated children's zones with their own drag lifts sit close to the main sectors too, so families learning together can stay near each other on the mountain.
Georgia is one of the more affordable ski destinations in Europe. Georgia is widely considered the birthplace of wine, with an unbroken winemaking tradition stretching back around 8,000 years. Many restaurants still ferment wine using qvevri, large clay vessels buried underground, a method recognised by UNESCO as part of the country's cultural heritage. Meals built around khinkali, the country's signature dumplings, and mtsvadi, skewered grilled meat, are a regular part of the experience here, pairing local food and wine with a day on the slopes.
Yes, particularly for intermediates and adventurous skiers. Gudauri has reliable snow and open terrain, with dedicated beginner areas and serious off-piste for those who want it. It's not as developed as the Alps, but that's part of the appeal, and there's enough terrain here to suit a wide range of abilities.

C'était tellement plus simple. Tout a parfaitement fonctionné - les transferts sont arrivés à l'heure et il y avait beaucoup de retours d'information tout au long du processus, ce qui vous donne confiance que les vacances se dérouleront sans problème.
Un service vraiment utile qui est beaucoup plus facile à utiliser que d'autres sites "tout compris". Il comble parfaitement le fossé entre une agence de voyage et la réservation du séjour par vous-même en ligne. J'utiliserai WeSki chaque fois que j'irai au ski à partir de maintenant.
Nous avons réservé un séjour au ski de dernière minute à Morzine via WeSki. Nous avions envisagé de réserver le séjour nous-mêmes, mais nous n'avons pas pu trouver un prix aussi avantageux que celui proposé par WeSki. L'entreprise a été super et nous n'avons rencontré aucun problème du début à la fin. Je passerai certainement de nouveau par eux pour réserver un autre week-end au ski.
